Thanksgiving Dessert
We had a few of our new friends join us for dessert on Thanksgiving day. We're so glad to have met some great people after just a few months here.
After Thanksgiving Hike
We headed to Lake Grapevine to hike off some of our Thanksgiving meal. It was a beautiful afternoon, and it helped the food digest!

Visit with Grandma
Jeremy's mom came for a visit just before Thanksgiving. She was kind enough to watch the kids while we went to Vegas, and we were able to enjoy her company for a few days as well! The kids (and parents) loved to have her here!
Vegas, Baby, Vegas
We took a 65 hour trip to Las Vegas, just the two of us. Jeremy had a brief meeting that we extended to a three day, two night getaway. We went to two clubs, two shows and many casinos, plus we took a Pink Jeep tour to Red Rock Canyon. It was great to leave the kids with Jeremy's mom and have a mini vacation!
Happy Halloween!
We had a little party with the neighbors, then went trick or treating in the neighborhood. Our little superheroes had so much fun, and collected a TON of candy!
Mathias' 2nd Birthday
Since we were in Disney World, we didn't have a party at the house this year. Mathias didn't mind, though, and got to open presents and have cupcakes on two occasions.

Liliana LOVED being at Magic Kingdom in her princess outfit, complete with princess hair and glitter!
Magic Kingdom Halloween Party
We attended a special evening event at Magic Kingdom. The crowds were small, and we got to ride everything with little or no wait time. They also had trick or treating, a parade and fireworks!
